The recovered Grassy Island Lighthouses were brought to the Yacht Club harbor in the later half of the 1960s shortly after being decommissioned. They were located on the north side of the harbor where they remained until being moved in 1998 & 1999. Once moved to the breakwall on the west end of the harbor, restoration began and is still continuing today.

Below is a picture of the Lighthouses when they sat on the north side of the harbor. The building that can be seen is the Coast Guard Station.

Pictured on the left is a view of the Lighthouses looking west across the harbor.

To the right is a picture shot from on the Fox River and looking northeast toward the Yacht Club harbor.  Restoration work in 2002 has been active as one can tell by the scaffolding around the taller light.  The shorter light is looking pretty good having received similar repairs the previous year.

There is still plenty more to come on these history rich Lighthouses.
